FAQs

  • When it comes to shooting, I like to get a mix of both candid and posed images.

When it comes to editing, my style is bright, colourful, and true to life.

  • Absolutely!

If you’re afraid that you don’t know how to pose, fear not. That’s what I’m here for! While I do enjoy getting lots of candid images, the truth is that “candid” images are hardly ever truly candid. Behind every “candid” image is a professional photographer prompting their clients in various ways. By using prompts like “hold hands and walk towards me”, or “spin her around and then pull her in close”, I’m able to get my clients into different poses in a way that feels easy and natural.

Aside from using prompts, I also provide specific guidance to my clients when needed to ensure you look your best, and I also like to incorporate some more heavily posed images into the session for the sake of variety. Typically, you can expect about 80% of the session to be “candid”, while the other 20% is more posed, though these numbers vary based on my clients’ preferences.

  • Fun, easy, and natural.

I’ve lost count of how many times clients have told me “Wow, that was way more fun than we expected!” at the end of a session.

By incorporating lots of movement, creative prompts, jokes, and even games when working with young children, my sessions are engaging and enjoyable for everyone involved.

  • No, I do not give out RAW files.

  • I produce the majority of my work with the Canon R5, the Canon 28-70 F2, and the Godox V1.

In terms of backups, absolutely! I always bring two additional cameras with me, as well as several backup lenses, memory cards, flashes, etc. No matter what happens, I am ready to shoot.

  • Absolutely.

I have a bulletproof backup system that ensures that your images are safe, and never at risk of getting lost.

  • Yes! Feel free to provide me with certain shots you may have in mind or requests, and I will try my best to make it happen.

  • You should wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident.

Apart from that, I highly recommend keeping things simple, and avoiding any logos/printed tees.

Lastly, you should wear something that is appropriate for the setting of the shoot. So, if we’re shooting outside in Victoria in the middle of November, make sure to layer up! It’s better to wear something a little bulkier than to be visibly cold and tense during a shoot.
